POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA COURSE IN DIALYSIS TECHNOLOGY (PGDDT)
The Director of Medical Education, Kerala State, invites applications for admission to the Post-graduate Diploma Course in Dialysis Technology (PGDDT) in the following institutions. The total number of seats will be 19 (Nineteen). The Director of Medical Education makes the selection and allotment for all the nineteen seats.

ELIGIBILITY
Academic: Candidates should have passed BSc (MLT) / BSc (Physics) / BSc (Chemistry) / BSc (Zoology) / BSc (Nursing) from the University of Kerala or equivalent degree from other Universities, recognized by the University of Kerala. The applicant should have not less than 55% marks in the examination or equivalent recognized degree.
DURATION OF THE COURSE
It is a two-year course that comprises of didactic course and training in various aspects of dialysis for a period of one year. On successful completion of the examination, the candidate will undergo one-year training in the same institution and not allowed transfer to another institution during the period of internship. The diploma will be awarded on successful completion of internship.
POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN PSYCHIATRIC SOCIAL WORK [PGDPSW]
ELIGIBILITY
Candidates who have passed M.S.W. Degree from the University of Kerala or equivalent degree from other Universities, recognised by the University of Kerala with not less than 55% of aggregate marks in that examination. Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidate need to pass the exam and relaxation of 5% marks to candidate belonging to socially and educationally backward community who come under the purview of the GOP208/66/Edn.dated 02/05/1966 and subsequent orders/amendments and also subject the annual family income of such applicants being below rupees 1.5 Lakhs rupees.
Only Indian citizens of Kerala origin are eligible for admission to the course. Candidates, in order to prove that they are Indian citizens of Kerala origin, have to produce certificates from the Village Officer / Tahsildar to show that he/she or his/her parents (mother/father) has been a resident of the T.C/Malabar areas now situated in Kerala State, for three years within a continuous period of five years immediately preceding 1-11-1956 or has owned or possessed landed property or house in the T.C/ Malabar areas, now situated in Kerala State prior to 1-11-1956 or a certificate regarding the region of education from the Head of the Educational Institution where the candidates last studied.
